Upstart shoelace, late for work

There is a luck in the hand,
There is luck.
Have you ever seen your hand reach for things that you don’t want,
But should have?
I have seen it, reach for a hot pan
There has to be a reason, a rhyme for pain on the skin, your hand won’t do it. It’s lucky.
Grabbing onto the bus rail with enough time to not fall into the breasts of a woman,
Grabbing the steering shell with enough time to not scrape a new bumper,
Grabbing that extra minute,
Grabbing that waist before she cries,
The hand is a lucky man, livening a bigger life than you can ever do.
